It is going to be a busy weekend at the Zelta Zirgs track in Kegums, Latvia, as it will take place not only the 10th Grand Prix of the FIM Motocross World Championship, but also the fifth round of the UEM EMX2 series and the third round of the FIM Veterans World Cup.
2011 Sachsenring MotoGP
As the 2011 MotoGP Championship heads this weekend to Sachsenring for the Germany GP, one motorcycle pilot has more wins than all the others – Ducati Team’s Valentino Rossi. And it’ll be a special race for Rossi, considering he’ll be starting his 250th career GP race.

Honda World Motocross’ Bobryshev made history this weekend in Teutschenthal obtaining his maiden FIM Motocross MX1 GP win and handing Russia another GP victory after more than thirty years from Vladimir Kavinov win in the GP of Russia.
2011 FIM Motocross
The FIM Motocross World Championship travels this weekend to Teutschenthal, Germany, where it will take place ninth round of the season. Antonio Cairoli arrives as the new leader of the Motocross MX1 class and Ken Roczen is looking forward to handing an overall win to his home fans and keep the leadership of the MX2 series.
SuperMoto World Championship
The third appointment with the 2011 FIM SuperMoto World Championship at Pas De La Casa, Andorra, was disputed in a sunny day begun with a very strong wind that obliged the event management to postpone the warm up session and to cancel the Superpole.
FIM Motocross MX2
Red Bull Teka KTM Factory Racing MX2’s Ken Roczen dominated both Uddevella FIM Motocross MX2 heats from beginning to end and he showed once more that he is the rider to beat. It’s the fourth overall victory for the German and he is now leading the FIM Motocross MX2 Championship with 14 points advantage over runner up Herlings.
Nicolas Terol (Bankia Aspar) had a stunning return to competition after missing the last 125cc MotoGP race in Assen due to injury, shooting off the second row to lead the start of the Gran Premio d’Italia TIM Mugello race with first time pole man Zarco (Avant-AirAsia-Ajo) moving quickly into second, chasing his first 125 GP victory.
2011 FIM Motocross World Championship
The beautiful track of Uddevalla was the scenery of day one of the eighth GP of the 2011 season. Antonio Cairoli and Ken Roczen dominated the qualifying races and received another Lovemytime Pole position Award, the second one for Cairoli and the seventh one for Roczen.
A pleasant satisfaction for the Sidi colors came from the track in Assen. On Saturday, June 25, the Turkish pilot Kenan Sofuoglu (Technomag-CIP) nabbed an excellent second place in the Grand Prix in Holland in the Moto2 race which was won by Spain’s Marc Marquez.

After the first two laps of the Assen TT MotoGP Saturday, four riders would crash – pole-sitter Marco Simoncelli (San Carlo Honda Gresini), Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha Factory Racing), Karel Abraham (Cardion AB Ducati) and Randy de Puniet (Pramac Ducati).
