Rockstar Energy Suzuki World MX1’s Clement Desalle obtained his third overall victory this weekend in Agueda. The Belgian FIM Motocross rider struggled a little bit with the track, but he managed to finish on the top of the rostrum. Desalle is still leading the MX1 Championship with 12 points difference over Antonio Cairoli.
David Philippaerts obtained the first overall FIM Motocross victory of the season in Indaiatuba, while Jeffrey Herlings beat his team-mate Ken Roczen and got his second GP win of the season. Both riders took the overall win being tight in points with the second classified.
During the Monster Energy GP of USA at Glen Helen Raceway last weekend, Youthstream and the FIM announced the celebration of the Grand Prix of Mexico for the upcoming 2012 FIM Motocross World Championship season.
Former rider Mr. Sebastien Tortelli and Mr. Nicolás España Serrano will be the promoters of the third overseas GP of next season.

FIM Motocross MX1/MX2
The FIM World Motocross Championship heads to Glen Helen Raceway in California this weekend, the only US round on the 2011 calendar.
This will be the second year that the USGP will occur at Glen Helen, and the action is again expected to be fierce.
Bankia Aspar’s Nicolas Terol continued his perfect start to the 2011 125cc MotoGp season with his third successive win of the 125cc campaign.
The Spaniard dominated at the front in Estoril, Portugal, and led home Sandro Cortese (Intact-Racing Team Germany) and Johann Zarco (Avant-AirAsia-Ajo).

Red Bull Teka KTM factory FIM motocross riders Tony Cairoli and Max Nagl rode two masterly motos on the deep and tricky sands of Valkenswaard in the Netherlands on Easter Monday to deliver two consecutive moto victories and finish the day 1-2 on the GP podium.
2011 FIM World Motocross
In the MX1 class, Max Nagl got an eventual win, after taking advantage of a mistake of race leader Steven Frossard with just three laps to go.
Jeffrey Herlings dominated the MX2 qualifying race from beginning to end, showing his impressive skills on the sand.
MX World Championship
In 2010 the Red Bull Factory Racing team gave KTM their best ever MX World Championship season with titles in MX1, MX2 and WMX.
That looks like a hard act to follow but all indications are that this team of top talented riders is "Ready to Race" and read to deliver a stunning line-up of results in 2011.
Stefan Bradl (Viessmann Kiefer Racing) opened his season in style by taking the second Moto2 win of his career at Losail International Circuit, Qatar, having started from pole position for the first time in his GP tenure.
The German Moto2 rider led from the start of the race and eventually won by a large margin of 4.330s.
It’s a partnership born to win. The performance of Bitubo obtained during the test was crucial for starting the partnership.
Bitubo will support the 2010 World Champion Team of Moto 2category during the 2011 season with Factory suspensions managed and developed exclusively for riders Yuki Takahashi and Michele Pirro.
