2012 Suzuki Wallpaper
The Suzuki V-Strom 1000 returns to America for 2012, although basically as a carryover model from the year it was last offered, 2009; that year the V-Strom DL1000 received a major upgrade.
The 2012 V-Strom 1000 is offered as a standard model or the new "Adventure" series, which is upgraded with color-matching sidebags and a top case.
Still powering the older sibling of the Vstrom 650 is the 90-degree V-Twin that’s tuned for mid-range power. A hydraulic clutch, six-speed transmission and final drive finish out the machine built with on- and off-road riding in mind.
Up front, the 43mm fork and link-type rear suspension offer 6.3 inches of travel, which is needed for those back-road wanderings. And of course, the V-Strom 1000 features upright ergonomics for many comfortable miles. As for colors, the standard bike is available in Pear Nebula Black or Pearl Mira Red, and the Advenutre model only Pearl Nebula Black.
