2016 Yamaha XSR900 | Motorcycle Buyer’s Guide

Using the 847cc Crossplane Crankshaft Concept motor that has served the FZ-09 so well, the new XSR900 matches modernity to retro styling.
Yamaha may reference the XS line (though the XSR900 looks more like a Daytona Special or RZ350), underneath the XSR900 gets an aluminum frame and wheels, adjustable suspension, standard ABS and slipper clutch, and ride-by-wire with two power modes.
The shorty exhaust and triple disc brakes let you know this 430-pound bike is ready for sporting duty.
