Honda has taken the legendary coast-to-coast Gold Wing touring platform and turned it into a local weekend tourer with a slightly stripped down style.
The 2016 Honda Gold Wing F6B gets a smaller fairing, shorter windscreen, new seat, and loses the top box for a more urban appearance.
The impressive inline-6 is retained, as is the premium audio system with MP3/iPhone connectivity and a multi-information dash screen displaying various pieces of info—odometer, tripmeters, clock, air temperature, saddlebag open indicator, audio controls and song readout. A Deluxe package adds additional touring accouterments, such as self-cancelling turn signals, a backrest, centerstand, and heated grips.
