Brabus x Dab Motors Electric Motorcycles First Look: 13 Fast Facts

German luxury tuner Brabus and French electric motorcycle maker Dab Motors have unveiled three co-developed electric motorcycles at Milan Design Week 2026. The lineup includes the Dab 1a Brabus (€16,900; $19,900), the Brabus Urban E (€22,900; $26,960), and the limited Brabus Urban E First Edition (€32,500; $38,270). All three models are available now in EU countries, Switzerland, the UK, and select non-European markets that recognize EU-type approval. All bikes come with a two-year warranty. Milan Design Week was chosen, according to Brabus, because of its audience of design and technology enthusiasts rather than exclusively motorcyclists.

  1. The collaboration brings together two companies with very different backgrounds. Brabus, headquartered in Bottrop, Germany, has built its reputation over decades as a high-performance tuner of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, producing some of the world’s fastest and most expensive road cars. Most recently, we have covered the KTM-based 2026 Brabus 1400 R Signature Edition motorcycle and Brabus XLP 800 6×6 adventure truck. Dab Motors was founded in France in 2018 with a goal of creating lightweight electric motorcycles that combine precision engineering with a design-driven development philosophy. The two companies say the partnership grew from a shared unwillingness to compromise on quality or performance.

  1. All three bikes share the same core drivetrain. A 72-volt, 7.1-kWh lithium-ion battery powers the electric motor. Top speed is 75 mph, and range is rated at up to 93 miles in urban riding conditions. Charging from 50 to 100 percent takes roughly 90 minutes on a 220-volt power source, and a full charge from empty requires 3.5 to 4 hours. The charging plug is at the rear of the bike. A carbon belt final drive is implemented.

  1. The entry-level Dab 1a Brabus is primarily a cosmetic upgrade on Dab Motors’ existing platform. It adds exposed carbon-fiber bodywork, including the side ducts, engine cover inserts, belly pan, and front fender. Additional styling touches come from glossy black side plates, matte black wheel covers with gray pinstripes, and an Alcantara seat with gray stitching. Brabus branding is integrated throughout. The motor produces 31 hp and 291 lb-ft of torque, identical to the standard Dab 1a.

  1. The Brabus Urban E steps up both the power and the spec sheet considerably. Engine remapping and a revised inverter boost output to 37 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque, an increase of about 20% over the base model. Carbon-fiber air ducts feed cooling air to the motor, helping it maintain full power output during aggressive riding or in high temperatures. This thermal management addresses a common weak point in high-performance urban electric motorcycles.

  1. The Urban E also gets a significantly more aggressive bodywork treatment than the Dab 1a Brabus. It features a monocoque-style tank and seat and rear carbon-fiber winglets with integrated running lights. Below the illuminated Brabus logo at the bottom of what resembles a number plate is an LED projector headlight. There’s an underseat translucent monoblock LED taillight, with the license plate bracket mounted on the swingarm. An integrated storage compartment in front of the seat holds the included charging cable.

  1. Controls and ergonomics on the Urban E reflect its higher position in the lineup. The supermoto-style handlebar features integrated turn signals, and the levers are CNC-machined aluminum. The seat is upholstered in red Brabus Masterpiece leather with a precisely stitched shell quilting pattern. A keyless ignition system lets the rider start the bike via PIN code, and a 2.8-inch LCD display shows speed, battery status, charging progress, and system temperature.

  1. The Urban E offers four riding modes: Sport, Street, Eco, and Reverse. Eco mode caps speed at 38 mph and softens acceleration to preserve range. Street mode delivers full power through a linear torque map suited to everyday urban riding. The highest-performance tune is unlocked by Sport mode for immediate acceleration. Also, a Nitrous Boost function overrides the active mode and deploys maximum current for up to 10 seconds. Reverse uses electronic phase inversion for controlled low-speed maneuvering.
  1. The Urban E’s suspension is purpose-built for performance. The fully adjustable inverted 46mm fork has 3.9 inches of travel. A custom CNC-machined, fully adjustable shock controls 3.9 inches of rear wheel travel.

  1. Braking comes from Brembo at both ends. A radially mounted four-piston caliper grasps a 320mm floating front disc, and a single-piston caliper slows a 240 mm rear disc. Dual-channel ABS is standard.
  1. Highly regarded Pirelli Diablo Rossi IV tires are mounted on wheels with carbon fiber covers. Tire sizes are 120/70-17 front and a 150/60-17 rear. The o

  1. The Brabus Urban E First Edition is mechanically identical to the Urban E, though limited to just 40 units. Ten units will be built in each of four Brabus colors: Peetch, Desert Sand, Superviolet, and Fusion Red. Each bike features frame and fairing components finished in the matching color, with Brabus Masterpiece leather seat upholstery to match. The Superviolet variant gets additional exposed carbon-fiber body elements not found on the other color variants.

  1. For buyers who want the Urban E without the bold color options, Brabus also offers the bike in an optional Superblack configuration. This version features a full gloss black paint finish and a matching black Brabus Masterpiece leather seat. It’s a more understated alternative to the red-accented standard model or the collector-edition colors. Pricing for the Superblack option has not been set.
  1. As Brabus vehicles go, this allows more people to access the brand. Keep in mind that the 2026 Brabus 1400 R Signature Edition had a list price of $54,999, and the Brabus XLP 800 6×6 had a price tag of $1.36 million last year. Now, you can get into the Brabus family for less than $20,000 for the Dab 1a Brabus, and the limited Brabus Urban E First Edition will set you back just $38,270.
