The 2026 Harley-Davidson Street Glide 3 Limited is a new option for three-wheel fans looking for luxury touring. Based on the Street Glide Limited full dresser, the 3 adds the advantages, and disadvantages, of a third wheel. Let’s go over what makes this trike suitable for coast-to-coast touring.

The 2026 Harley-Davidson Street Glide 3 Limited features the new Grand Tour-Pak. This new luggage carrier provides a roomier passenger seating experience thanks to a redesigned backrest and relocated speakers. The new Grand Tour-Pak does this while retaining the 2.4 cubic feet (68 liters) carrying capacity of the King Tour-Pak it replaces, and it can still house a pair of large full-face helmets. The Grand Tour-Pak includes a molded liner that can be removed for cleaning, along with a 12-volt power source.

A new Premium Luggage Rack is available to secure soft luggage. It sits atop the Grand Tour-Pack, above the integrated lighting.

Instead of the side cases found on the two-wheel Street Glide Limited, the 3 has a trunk. The trunk holds 4.4 cubic feet of cargo (125 liters), for a total storage capacity of 7.1 cubic feet (201 liters).

Heated seating has been added, with new padding and a revised seat shape. Harley-Davidson engineers have designed the new seat to put the rider in a more neutral position to reduce fatigue on long rides. The passenger seat is a bit wider than before. Each seat has individually controlled seating, with High, Low, and Off settings. A heated lower back pad for the passenger is optional. The passenger gets new cast-aluminum grab rails, while heated grips are standard for the rider.

A new batwing fairing protects the rider and passenger. The duo is protected by a taller clear windshield — four inches higher than on the standard Street Glide — as well as fairing lowers and air deflectors. Inside the fairing, the rider monitors the situation on a 12.3-inch touchscreen dash running Skyline OS software, with Over-the-Air updates via Wi-Fi. The system is compatible with Apple CarPlay.

Every sound from the infotainment system runs through Harley-Davidson Audio powered by Rockford Fosgate speakers. The system delivers 50 watts to each of the four 6.5-inch speakers.

The 2026 Harley-Davidson Street Glide 3 has new rear suspension. Rear-wheel travel increases from 2.3 to 5.0 inches, enhancing bump absorption, decreasing bump roll, and reducing handlebar corrections on uneven surfaces or in corners. It replaces the live axle with a de Dion design. The cast aluminum axle connects the wheels as a trailing arm linked to the chassis via a spherical joint, allowing independent movement with minimal chassis disturbance. At the same time, power flows through half-shafts with CV joints. Watts linkage centers the axle, and a stabilizer bar controls roll.

The new 3 features a chassis-mounted differential and no axle-mounted reverse motor, allowing softer springs and shocks for a plush ride. The new Reverse System uses the electric-powered starter motor, replacing the heavier separate electric motor used on previous trikes. The downside is that reverse is either on or off, as the speed cannot be changed. Also, the Limited cannot be in reverse for more than 20 seconds before needing a brake.

All these changes combine to reduce unsprung weight by about 68 pounds. Additionally, the new Street Glide 3 Limited offers greater stability thanks to a 1.5-inch-wide rear track and a 1.6-inch-longer wheelbase. The 3 has a curb weight of 1250 pounds.

The Street Glide 3 Limited gets the latest Milwaukee-Eight VVT 117 motor. That means 105 horsepower at 4600 rpm and torque peaking at 129 lb-ft at 3250 rpm. The variable valve timing widens the powerband and reduces fuel consumption by a couple of percentage points or so. Cooling is a combination of liquid in the heads, air, and an oil cooler.

The 3 also gets the full electronics package. That means three ride modes, a custom ride mode, and Harley-Davidson’s Rider Safety Enhancements, which include linked braking, ABS, traction control, and drag torque control — all cornering aware. Hill hold control and tire pressure monitoring.

The 2026 Harley-Davidson Street Glide 3 Limited has a starting MSRP of $39,199. You have a choice between Chrome and Black Trim, with Black adding $1400 to the price. The Trims have the same six color choices, with Chrome getting a bonus $4000 Midnight Ember option.
