Arriving as a direct competitor to the Kawasaki Eliminator and Honda Rebel 500, the 2026 CFMoto 450CL-C brings a $5799 price tag to the table—that’s $1000 less than the Rebel and $700 less than the Eliminator. While the 450CL-C has been updated this year, it will be new to most of you, so let’s start from scratch.
- The 2025 CFMoto 450CL-C is powered by a counterbalanced 449cc motor. It’s a short-stroke DOHC parallel twin with a 270-degree crank that puts out a claimed 40 horsepower at 8000 rpm and 30 lb-ft of torque 1750 rpm earlier. A Bosch EFI system covers the cooling for the liquid-cooled powerplant. The six-speed transmission is matched to a slipper clutch, with power sent to the rear wheel via a Gates carbon belt drive. Traction control is standard.
- The suspension is non-adjustable, though CFMoto is stingy with information. The 450CL-C has an inverted fork and a single shock in the rear. We can’t tell you any more than that.
- The 16-inch wheels are shod with CST tires. That’s a 150mm front and 130 rear.
- A steel trellis frame allows a low seat height. The saddle is just 27 inches off the pavement. Curb weight with the 3.2-gallon fuel tank filled is 399 pounds. CFMoto does not share the rake and trail, but claims “relaxed geometry”.
- J.Juan contributes the brake calipers. The front four-piston caliper is radially mounted and is paired to a 320mm disc. The single-piston rear caliper works on a 220mm disc. Dual-channel ABS is standard.
- The round speedometer casing holds a 3.6-inch TFT display. It can be paired with a smartphone via Bluetooth and the CFMoto RideSync app.
- Organic shapes dominate on the 450CL-C. The headlight, tail light, turn signals, and bar-end mirrors are all round. All lighting is LED.
- CFMoto has plenty of accessories to turn the 450CL-C into a light-duty touring bike or well-equipped commuter. The accessories catalog includes leather saddlebags, a tank bag, a shorty windshield, and a passenger backrest.
- The 2026 CFMoto 450CL-C is available in two colors: Teal Green and Nebula Black. The cruiser comes with a two-year warranty.
