With Indian Motorcycle’s recent sale by Polaris Industries to Carolwood LP, it’s a quiet year for new models. However, we welcome the 2026 Indian Sport Scout RT to the lineup of American V-twins. As you might have guessed from the name, the Sport Scout RT is based on the Sport Scout introduced last year.

To explain it quickly, the 2026 Indian Sport Scout RT is the Sport Scout with panniers. The side cases provide over 10 gallons of storage, are waterproof, and are lockable. Everything is color-matched to the tank paint, including the bikini fairing and the panniers.

2026 Indian Sport Scout RT First Look: Price

The SpeedPlus 1250 V-twin, introduced last year, returns, still putting out 105 horsepower at 7250 rpm and 82 lb-ft of torque at 6300 rpm. The 19-/16-inch cast aluminum wheelset is shod with Metzeler Cruisetec tires, with a 298mm disc on each wheel for ABS-enhanced braking.

2026 Indian Sport Scout RT First Look: Colors

The 2026 Indian Sport Scout RT is only available to the top-of-the-line Limited + Tech Trim, which means you get the round TFT dash with Ride Command, ride modes, cruise control, and traction control. Three colors are available—Sunset Metallic Red, Black Smoke, and Chalk—with a base MSRP of $16,999. If you pop on down to your local Indian dealer, you might just see one in the flesh.
