Cortech Supports MotoAmerica Once Again
Cortech has been in the protection game for a long time, and the Southern California brand has signed up for another year of supporting the MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Road Racing Championship.
The brand will also be the presenting sponsor of the official Timing & Scoring system, which will be used for the entire nine-round MotoAmerica Series that begins this weekend alongside MotoGP at Circuit of The Americas in Austin.
Based in Calabasas Hills, Calif., Cortech is Helmet House’s performance gear brand for motorcycling and snowmobiling. It offers a full line of products, from the neck down to protect riders of every style. Ultimate MotorCyling President Arthur Coldwells recently tested some Cortech protective gear.
Cortech isn’t there for show; it has made use of its sponsorship and utilized input from MotoAmerica riders like Jake Lewis and Garrett Gerloff.
“Having Cortech back on board for 2016 comes as great news,” said MotoAmerica President and three-time 500cc World Champion Wayne Rainey. “It was a solid partnership last year in our debut season and it’s nice to move forward with them again in our second season. Our timing and scoring is much improved over last year and it will be good to have Cortech back as the sponsor of that system.”
“Cortech is proud to return as MotoAmerica’s Timing and Scoring supporting partner for the 2016 MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Road Racing Championship,” said Richard Kimes, CMO and Director of Training for Helmet House.
“With professional road racing one of the cornerstones for Cortech’s relentless product development, we can’t imagine a better partner than MotoAmerica to help Cortech continue its strong growth in high performance street and road racing apparel.”
