2015 BMW S1000RRBMW Motorrad USA has set the bar once again regarding motorcycle sales. The Bavarian motorcycle manufacturer continued its trend of record-breaking monthly motorcycle sales for September 2015.During September, BMW Motorrad USA sold 1,149 motorcycles and maxi-scooters, which was 25.7 percent more than September 2014 when 914 units were sold.
BMW says the top-selling motorcycle was the revamped 2015 S1000RR; 199 S1000RRs were sold, showing a 93-percent increase in sales of that model. Combined with the recently introduced S1000XR Adventure Sport, the BMW S series grew 85 percent in September.BMW Motorrad says 310 S models were sold in September 2015, compared to 168 in the same period of 2014.BMW K-Series sales, boosted by the arrival of fresh model year 2016 inventory, grew 30 percent with 131 deliveries compared to 101 this time last year.
