Chris Pratt Jurassic World Triumph Scrambler On the Block
The Triumph Scrambler that Chris Pratt rode in the summer blockbuster Jurassic World is headed for auction (video of the bike below). The Jurassic World Triumph Scrambler will go on the block to benefit Triumph’s nominated fundraising partner, The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride. The Triumph Scrambler will be auctioned on eBay in the UK on Thursday, July 23.
Three Triumph Scramblers were used in the film. Besides the bike headed to auction, one of the Jurassic World Triumph Scrambler motorcycles was given to Chris Pratt as a gift, and the other is on display at Triumph headquarters in the UK.
Triumph says “This incredible once in a life time opportunity gives motorcycle collectors and Jurassic World enthusiasts alike the chance to experience the incomparable ride a Triumph provides while owning a piece of rare and authentic cinematic memorabilia.
The Jurassic World Triumph Scrambler is based on the brand’s iconic Bonneville model, combining classic off-road influences with the Hinckley firm’s signature twin cylinder, 865cc engine. Triumph has been a long-standing favorite of Hollywood superstars past and present including; Steve McQueen, Marlon Brando and more recently Bradley Cooper, George Clooney and Ryan Reynolds.
The Jurassic World Triumph Scrambler auction begins at 7 p.m. GMT Thursday, July 23, and will be live for 10 days.
Money raised by the auction will go to The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, an annual motorcycle event that takes place in cities around the world on the last Sunday in September. Celebrating dapper style, classic motorcycles and the fun of riding with friends, the event is held to raise funds to help research into beating prostate cancer. Now in its fourth year, The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride has raised $2million for global medical research and this year hopes to raise over $3.M through events in over 80 countries around the world, Triumph reports.
