AIMExpo Appoints Kevin Nixon as Marketing Manager

The American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo) announced Thursday the addition of motorcycle industry veteran Kevin Nixon to the growing AIMExpo team. Nixon will serve as the Marketing Manager for the powersports market’s largest show, which was recently named one of the fastest-growing trade shows in North America.

He will be based out of the Marketplace Events Motorcycle Group’s Irvine headquarters. An avid motorcyclist and vintage-racing enthusiast, Nixon joins the team after spending the last five years with Twisted Throttle, a leading motorcycle accessory distributor, manufacturer, and AIMExpo exhibitor since the show’s inception in 2013.13.

Nixon’s prior marketing experience and in-depth knowledge of the motorcycle industry will serve him well in his new role with AIMExpo, where he will focus on further developing integrated marketing communications programs across exhibitor, dealer, consumer and media channels.

“I’ve had the opportunity to be involved with AIMExpo as an exhibitor since the inaugural event just a couple of short years ago,” said Nixon. “I’m looking forward to lending my experience, both industry marketing and on-site at the show, to the team’s vision to add value to the industry and provide an unparalleled experience for all attendees.”

AIMExpo Appoints Kevin Nixon as Marketing Manager“Many of us have had the opportunity to work alongside Kevin throughout the years, whether in his role with Twisted Throttle or connecting during a ride with other members of the industry,” said Larry Little, VP and GM of AIMExpo. “His passion for powersports, combined with his marketing knowledge and leadership makes him an ideal fit. He’s a key addition to the team and we’re excited to add his many skills as we continue developing and refining the AIMExpo platform.”

More than 350 exhibitors have already committed to AIMExpo in 2015. Exhibitor presence builds each day, and companies looking to take advantage of the AIMExpo platform should contact an AIMExpo Account Manager toll free at 855-MCShows (855-627-4697).
