For riders like Chris “Teach” McNeil, there’s only one true test of gear – a serious Braaap session. And this is just what McNeil did while testing Joe Rocket’s Ballistic Series gear. He headed to Hunter Mountain in New York, and had some fun aboard his BMW F800GS.

The video above highlights McNeil’s Hunter Mountain Ride. During the video shoot, McNeil was donning the following Joe Rocket gear – Ballistic Revolution jacket, Ballistic pants, and Velocity gloves. His other gear included O’Neal Element boots, an HJC FGX lid and Blur B2 goggles.

Speaking of the jacket, Joe Rocket says the next generation Ballistic Revolution motorcycle jacket “represents a series advancement so significant, it’s more Revolution than Evolution!”

The Ballistic Revolution jacket features a RockTex 600 chassis reinforced by 840D ballistic nylon. Inside, there is CE-approved armor in the shoulders and elbows, as well as a removable high-density spine pad.

In addition to impact and abrasion protection, the Joe Rocket Ballistic Revolution has a wide variety of practical comfort features. There’s an integrated waterproof mid-liner, a Cynix-insulated full-sleeve liner, and a hi-capacity Variable Flow ventilation system. These allow the rider to wear the jacket in an extremely wide variety of weather conditions.
