2015 Dakar Rally Video Highlights

The first half of the 2015 Dakar Rally is complete, the field of competitors competing six of 13 stages.

Saturday marks the only rest day of the 2015 Dakar Rally, the riders currently taking it easy in Iquique, Chile. But it’s just physical relaxing – the riders minds are at full throttle as they work on their bikes and planning out the next few stages.

At the halfway point, Team HRC Honda’s Joan Barreda Bort has the overall lead. The Spaniard’s total time is 21 hours, 38 minutes and 35 seconds. He leads fellow country man – four-time Dakar winner Marc Coma – by 12:27 minutes. Barreda Bort’s teammate Paolo Conclaves is third overall, 17:12 seconds back.
