KTM’s Ken Roczen Video
Heading into the 12th and final round of the 2014 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, only two riders were capable of earning the title – Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey and his teammate Ken Roczen.
The German rookie Roczen led his teammate by 20 points ahead of the Utah National. And though he didn’t earn the best results, his 3-4 moto finishes allowed him to secure the 2014 MX title.
Rozen finished on the podium at 21 of 24 motos, which included eight wins. His smartness throughout the season allowed him to become the first German to ever win a Motocross title. At 20-years old, he was also the youngest to take an MX title since Ricky Johnson in 1984.
Following the Utah National, the Red Bull KTM team captured Roczen’s emotions after winning the 2014 MX title. The video is attached above.
