Yamaha FZ-07 Features
Earlier this month, Yamaha excited many in the industry when it reported that the FZ-07 would come stateside.
The younger brother of the FZ-09 will appeal to the entry-level rider seeking sporty performance and comfort. The naked FZ-07 features a 689cc liquid-cooled, in-line twin with fuel injection that produces 50 ft/lbs of torque.
And like its older brother, the FZ-07’s twin features a Crossplane-Concept 270 degree crank that provides linear torque development in response to the rider’s throttle input.
The 397 lbs. (wet) FZ-07 features suspension similar to the FZ-09 with a 41mm front fork and adjustable line-type Monocross shock in the back. Brakes are handled by dual 282mm discs up front, and a single 245mm out back.
And the best part? The price; the FZ-07 is offered at a pocket-friendly $6,990.
