Bell recently invited journalists to get a behind-the-scenes look at Comprehensive Impact Testing at the company’s Scotts Valley headquarters.
The testing in “The Dome” allows Bell to create helmets that can absorb and dissipate energy at every level of velocity, including low-impact forces.
Speaking of the testing, Bell says “few companies have worked to develop the full picture of collisions. Now, Bell helmets, part of the larger Easton-Bell Sports company that specializes in head protection with sister brands like Riddle and Giro, has stepped to the forefront of this conversation by showcasing their comprehensive impact testing that they’ve done for years.”
Bell helmets recently released the attached video, which highlights its media day. For a review of one of Bell’s Star Carbon sportbike helmet, click here.
