Dakar 2014 Video Review of Stage 10
The 2014 Dakar Rally motorcycle grid was meet with another day competition held mostly in the sandy regions of Chile.
Wednesday’s stage 10 took riders 428-miles from Iquique to Antofagasta in Chile, which included a 392-mile special with a 36-mile liaison.
Taking his fourth stage win of 2014 Dakar Rally was Team HRC Honda’s Joan Barreda Bort, who finished ahead of teammate Helder Rodrigues and five-time Dakar winner Cyril Despres aboard the Red Bull Yamaha YZF 450 Rally.
Though he finished fifth in stage 10, Red Bull KTM’s Marc Coma continues to hold the overall lead. The three-time Dakar winner has an over 44-minute lead on Barreda with three stages remaining.
