Roland Sands says: “We wanted to keep it real, but add some fundamental improvements from a rider’s perspective. We have created a more relaxed fit jacket by incorporating rotated pre-curved sleeves, dropped back length and a relaxed collar opening. The shoulders feature flex gussets, which definitely differentiate the Fubar from any other denim jacket when you are riding.”
Made in America from raw, yarn-dyed denim for durability, the devil is in the details. Custom RSD button-close cuffs and armor-ready pockets for the shoulders, elbows and spine ensure this is a riding jacket rather than a haute couture accessory. “We really wanted to stay true to what people love about denim while elevating it to a real riding piece,” says Roland.
Despite being built with the protective components and road-worthy materials featured in every RSD jacket, the Fubar does make some concessions to style. Traditional patch pockets on the chest, custom RSD button-close front and subtle embossed leather branding are among the external visual elements. The interior gets our versatile pouch pockets, a key clip and a custom graphic. Inside or out, the Fubar is built to keep it classic, comfortable and road worthy.
