2011 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally
Victory Motorcycles is making its presence felt at the 71st Annual Sturgis Rally in 2011. In addition to their unique, downtown Sturgis location, Victory will have its largest ever test fleet available for demo rides.
Known for his groundbreaking motorcycles and progressive aftermarket designs, Roland Sands celebrated the grand opening of the RSD Design Center in Los Alamitos, Calif., Friday evening.
The 5,900 sq./ft. facility functions as a design and development center, custom build shop and even a retail store.
KTM North America, Inc. and Roland Sands Design are proud to announce the unveiling of two new custom-designed KTM motorcycles which will take place at the Indianapolis MotoGP on Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30, 2009.
Saturday, at 11:00am at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway KTM will unveil Sands latest work underneath the canopy of the KTM display truck.
Custom Honda CBR1000RR
Rick James of Carrollton, Texas, has won the annual Ride for Kids / International Motorcycle Shows bike drawing. His new ride is The Mission, a 2008 Honda CBR1000RR donated by American Honda and customized by master designer Roland Sands.
"I’m on cloud nine," James said when notified of his win. The 52-year-old motorcyclist has been out of work for several months, and says that winning the drawing "might just turn my luck around."
