Harley-Davidson Launches Performance Eyewear by Wiley X

Harley-Davidson Wiley Eyewear

Harley-Davidson MotorClothes and Wiley X are partners in a new line of premium eyewear. Harley-Davidson Performance Eyewear by Wiley X launched in 2012 with an initial collection 32 styles.

In 2013 a second launch of 10 Harley-Davidson-exclusive frame/lens combinations are also available to motorcycle enthusiasts everywhere through the worldwide Harley-Davidson dealer network.

Patrick Smith (Vice President of General Merchandise, Harley-Davidson Motor Company) says: “Our riders expect the highest quality riding gear from the Motor Company.

“Partnering with Wiley X – an eyewear industry leader for 25 years – combines the strengths of both companies to give our customers the performance, features and styles that they demand.”

The original collection of 32 styles features the high-performance and protection demanded by active motorcyclists, including: virtually unbreakable frames and shatter resistant lenses; premium quality optics that eliminate glare and harmful UVA/UVB rays; and Wiley X’s patented, removable soft Facial Cavity seal that conforms to the face to block wind, dust and debris. This eyewear delivers a superior fit, comfort and style both on and off the motorcycle.

Additionally, select new styles feature Harley-Davidson exclusive PPZ lens technology (Partial Polarized) with 70-percent polarization that cuts glare and reflection without compromising the vision that differentiates between water, oil, ice and contours of the road. PPZ technology is available in the following Climate Control Series: AirRage, Brick, Echo, Gravity and new HD Gem.
