2012 Ducati Superbike Wallpaper

For 2012, Ducati is offering its mid-weight superbike, the 848EVO, in a Corse SE model.

The red/white/black Ducati Corse SE features not only aesthetic beauty, but also added some performance to the base-model 848 EVO. This upgrades include an Ohlins rear shock, 330mm discs brakes up front (up 10mm from base EVO), a Quick Shifter (DQS) and Traction Control (DTC).

The 2012 Ducati 848 EVO Corse SE features the L-Twin Desmo that produces 140 horsepower at 10,500 rpm, and an asphalt-tearing 72.3 ft. lbs. of torque at 9,750 rpm.

The 848EVO Corse SE’s chassis is typical of Ducati, the machine featuring the Trellis frame that was developed on the race track. Regarding suspension, the SE gets the Ohlins rear monoshock paired with 43mm Showa forks.

As for braking, the 848EVO Corse SE features dual 330mm discs squeezed by radially mounted enbloc 4-piston calipers up front, and a single 245mm out back squeezed by a two-piston caliper out back.
