Road America SportBike: Qualifying Results

2011 AMA Daytona SportBike

In AMA Daytona SportBike, points leader Jason DiSalvo picked up his third consecutive pole position at Round 4 in Road America after just four races in that class. The Team Latus Motors Ducati rider posted his quickest lap time of 2:20.356 in Friday’s session to take the provisional pole, then turned it into the real deal on Saturday.

Rounding out the Daytona grid behind DiSalvo are Round 3 Daytona SportBike winner Josh Herrin (Monster Energy Graves Yamaha), Celtic Racing/Fast by Ferracci Ducati’s PJ Jacobson, and GEICO Powersports/RMR Suzuki’s Danny Eslick.

Jason DiSalvo (Daytona SportBike) says: "It’s going to be tough this afternoon," said DiSalvo. "I’m going to try to get a good start and give it my best shot. I’m ready for the race to play out a couple different ways, but that’s the best thing about racing-we don’t know how it’s going to go until we line ’em up."
