Ducati Motorcycle News

For the third consecutive year Ducati will return to the Quail Motorcycle Gathering; using the intimate venue for the North American unveiling of the new Multistrada 1200 S Pikes Peak Special Edition.

As a sponsor of the Quail Motorcycle Gathering since its inception, Ducati is excited to return for the third edition and has teamed up with the Quail Lodge to make a unique ticket package available. The Ducati package will include a VIP ticket to the event, free Ducati-only parking, and free gear check for less than the general admission price. The package can be purchased via the ducatiusa.com website.

To celebrate the occasion, Ducati will bring several brand new models to display: the Multistrada 1200 S Pikes Peak Special Edition, the all-new Monster 1100EVO and the radical new Diavel.

As the newest addition to Ducati’s formidable lineup, the Multistrada 1200 S Pikes Peak Special Edition is the award-winning Multistrada 1200 in its highest specification. The model is being produced to celebrate the Multistrada 1200’s win in the 2010 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. In a special preview for the North American market, the new model will be shown at this year’s Quail Motorcycle Gathering.

The Quail Motorcycle Gathering will also be a preview event for the highly-anticipated Monster 1100EVO, which is being shown in advance of the national dealer premiere May 27th.The Monster 1100EVO represents a landmark in the history of Ducati’s best-selling Monster line as the first air-cooled Monster to produce 100 horsepower. It is also the first Monster to feature the Ducati Traction Control (DTC) system- which combined with standard ABS brakes composes the Ducati Safety Pack.

The 2011 Ducati Diavel has taken the bike world by storm and will be on display for all to admire. The Diavel’s design sets new standards in beauty, innovation and sophistication; while outstanding agility and handling are encased within a muscular 162 hp package. The Diavel’s astonishing power can be managed in three different Riding Modes and ridden with the assurance of the Ducati Safety Pack; which includes ABS brakes and Ducati Traction Control.
