American SuperbikeThe Erik Buell Racing American Superbike team has signed a three-year sponsorship deal with AMSOIL, Buell reported on Thursday.
The Buell Racing team has also reach an agreement with AMSOIL, which includes the development and supply of production lubricant for new EBR motorcycles.For the second consecutive year, Geoff May will pilot the (99) Erik Buell Racing / AMSOIL in the AMA Superbike series. May will initially compete on the Buell 1125RR, and is expected to debut the EBR 1190S at Infineon for Round 2 of the AMA Superbike series May 13-15.Erik Buell says: "AMSOIL is a great story of American engineering and entrepreneurship, and we are very proud that they recognize similar characteristics in our new motorcycle company and have chosen to work with us."They were the first company to introduce synthetic oils to the consumer market, and have become recognized throughout the industry as a leader in lubrication technology."John Fox (EBR Engineering Director) says: "We are very impressed with the development process, level of integrity and technical expertise with which AMSOIL approaches their products.
