Supercross Lites East
Pro Circuit SX rider’s Dean Wilson and Blake Baggett make their season debut at the first meeting of the AMA Supercross LItes Eastern Region at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas.
Both motorcycle riders will be aboard the new 2011 Kawasaki KX 250 F and are going into their sophomore season as professionals as the two battle for their first championship.
Returning team member Wilson battled back from an off-season injury to enter Houston healthy and ready to go after his first title. The AMA Motocross Rookie of the Year feels stronger and more confident than his rookie season, making him a top contender for the championship.
Dean Wilson (Kawasaki KX250F) says: "I didn’t feel like I got a chance to prove myself last year," comments the East Supercross Lites rider. "I had some issues with my visa and had to miss a few races. I really want to show that I am a constant threat for the podium. I’m feeling good and excited to get back racing."
New to the team, Baggett already has one AMA Supercross Lites race win to his name from his rookie season. Coming into the 2011 SX Lites season, he is more prepared than ever to make a name for himself in a deeply competitive class.
Blake Baggett (Kawasaki KX250F) says: "Last year, I didn’t have any expectations as to how the year would go because I was new to the series," says the former Honda CRF250R rider "Now I know what to expect and I think I have the speed to make the podium consistently.
The Pro Circuit Kawasaki team is at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas for the sixth round of the Monster Energy Supercross, an FIM Championship and the debut of the AMA Supercross Lites Eastern Region.
