X Sports Pro Racing announces today that tickets for the 2011 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Series are now on sale and available for purchase at allisports.com.

In addition, special early bird promotions and discounts apply for those fans that choose to purchase tickets in advance of the events.

The on-track MX excitement kicks off on Saturday, May 21, with the legendary Hangtown Motocross Classic just minutes outside Sacramento, Calif.

From there, the MX series will travel throughout the United States before coming to a close in Southern California on Saturday, Sept. 10, at Pala Raceway.

After the most successful rookie season in history, defending 450 Class Champion Ryan Dungey will lead his Rockstar/Makita Suzuki team against 2010 runner-up and new teammate Brett Metcalfe as well as perennial front-runner Andrew Short, who finished third in last year’s championship, and his new KTM.

Additionally, fan favorite and three-time national champion Ryan Villopoto will make his long-awaited return to action with Monster Energy Kawasaki MX.

With the graduation of defending champion Trey Canard into the premier class, the deeply-talented and youthful 250 Class will crown a new title holder in 2011 while the stars of the Women’s Motocross Championship also makes their return at eight of the 12 rounds of competition.
