Jessica Zalusky to Minneapolis Motorcycle Show

Minneapolis IMS

AMA Pro Roadracer Jessica Zalusky is set to appear at the Progressive International Motorcycle Show (IMS) taking place at the Minneapolis Convention Center Feb. 4-6, 2011.

Following a successful, professional snowboard career, Zalusky was the primary woman racing in the AMA Pro Roadracing circuit, from 2002 to 2008. Following a victorious 9th place finish in the AMA Pro Thunder Championship early in her career, she continued until 2008 when a devastating and unexpected stroke ended her racing career.

She has been on the road to recovery and will share her inspiring story with motorcycle racing fans and show goers in Minneapolis.

Zalusky and fellow instructors from the Zalusky Advanced Riding School will be doing seminars at The Hub Presented by Allstate Motorcycle Insurance on Friday, Feb. 4, at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 5, at 12 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 6, at 12 p.m. She will also tell her story and greet fans in the Women Ride Experience on Saturday, Feb. 5, at 3 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 6, at 2 p.m.

For the first time ever, Progressive Insurance is the title sponsor for the 12-city tour. The show will be open to the public Friday, Feb. 4 through Sunday, Feb. 6, at the Minneapolis Convention Center, located at 1301 Second Avenue South, in Minneapolis.

Show hours are Friday, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission to the event is $15 adults $6 for children 6-11. Children 5 and under are admitted free.
