Motorcycle Recall
Ducati is recalling the following model Multistrada motorcycles due to fuel leakage:
- 2003-2004, 2006 Multistrada 1000
- 2005 Multistrada 1000 S
- 2006 Mulstistrada 620
- 2007-2008, 2009 Multistrada 1100
Ducati says 3,911 units may have fuel leakage at the fuel tank pump flange seal. Ducati says in the presence of an ignition source, this leakage could result in a fire.
Dealers will replace the fuel pump O-ring with an updated part free of charge. Ducati has not yet provided an owner notification schedule for this recall. Owners may contact Ducat at 1-800-231-6696.
