After racing and winning the first round of Super X Supercross in Newcastle, Australia this past Oct. 2010, Chad Reed returned to the U.S. to test various motocross bikes and teams searching for a suitable 2011 team structure.
Reed embraced social media using Twitter to publish hints as to the likely brand of motorcycle and apparel that he would be using in the 2011 AMA Supercross series. The 2011 Honda CRF 450 R along with Shift riding apparel, Alpinestars boots, and a Fox helmet were his clear choices.
Chad Reed, the multi-time Supercross and AMA Pro Motocross champion, also decided to form TwoTwo Motorsports as his very own official team for the 2011 AMA Supercross and AMA Pro Motocross season.
Reed has proven capable of competing at the sport’s most elite level, riding Suzuki, Yamaha and Kawasaki motorcycles in the past. He is known to be one of the most consistent SX and MX racers over the past nine years.
