Honda has recalled 3,020 VT750 motorcycles (Shadow, Phantom), model year 2010 and 2011, due to electrical system issues.
Honda says the VT750 motorcycles produced from June 25, 2009, to March 28, 2011, have defective bank angle sensors that could create an erroneous reading and cause the engine to stall, increasing the risk of a crash.
MV Agusta is recalling 2010 F4 motorcycles due to issues with the rear subframe. MV Agusta says the upper fixture points of the subframe may not be sufficiently robust, which could result in a crack during use. The Italian motorcycle company says 211 units are affected.
Due to a potential fire hazard, Baja Motorsports is recalling 4,300 dirt bikes, models DR50 and DR70, which were sold at nationwide Pep Boys stores from December 2010 through January 2011 for $550-650.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says owners should stop using the Baja children’s motorcycles immediately unless otherwise instructed.
Suzuki is recalling the following 2008 through 2010 motorcycles manufactured from July 2007 through September 2008 due to Regulator / Rectifier Assembly malfunctions; Suzuki says 73,4276 motorcycles are being recalled.

Harley-Davidson is recalling 6,964 Softail models from 2011 due to engine and engine cooling issues.
Harley says 6,964 Softail motorcycles are affected, which were manufactured from June 7, 2010, through Oct. 8, 2010. The recall affects only unites that had the security system kit installed as an accessory.
