MotoGP Video
For all those hardcore Ducati MotoGP fans that are going through the withdrawals that traditionally accompany this time of year due the off-season, check out this video for a nice little shot in the arm to warm your motorcycle racing addiction.
It’s short and sweet but does the trick with some adrenaline shots of road race passes at speed.
The Ducati highlights footage show, in the form, Casey Stoner (former Ducati rider) and Nicky Hayden, with each MotoGP rider being showcased in a number of brilliant Ducati GP10 passing maneuvers on a couple of guys who ride Yamaha M1s.
The front straight, stand-up, near vertical high-speed wheelie by Stoner at the Phillip Island MotoGP is worth the view all on its own.
But there are some clips with the mighty Ducati snapping around under hard acceleration, getting all that Desmo power hooked up to the pavement.
Casey Stoner finished fourth in the 2010 MotoGP championship, after a number of early season crashes, behind champion Jorge Lorenzo (Fiat Yamaha), the late-season charge of Dani Pedrosa on the Repsol Honda and the mid-season injured Valentino Rossi on the Fiat Yamaha.
Nicky Hayden finished seventh behind the Italian Andrea Dovizioso on the second Repsol Honda race bike and fellow American Ben Spies on the privateer Tech3 Yamaha M1.
For the 2011 MotoGP season, Valentino Rossi moves from Yamaha to join Nicky Hayden over at Ducati while Casey Stoner moves from Ducati over to Honda.
