2011 AMA Supercross
Feld Motor Sports announced Thursday that Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., based in Cypress, Calif., has renewed their partnership agreement to be an official motorcycle manufacturer and ticket outlet of Monster Energy Supercross, an FIM World Championship, that begins Jan. 8, 2011 at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif.The 2011 Monster Energy Supercross season marks the 13th year that Yamaha has been a committed partner to the championship.As part of the sponsorship initiative, over 120 Yamaha dealerships nationwide will serve as official AMA Supercross ticket outlets for the general public.Individuals who purchase tickets through any participating Yamaha dealership will receive a free Monster Energy Supercross Pit Pass, which provides fans the opportunity to spend a day in the pits and the chance to meet the superstars of the sport and get autographs.As a strong supporter of the sport, Yamaha sees great promotional value in sponsoring the championship, which attracts more than three-quarters of a million fans in some of the nation’s premier markets.Bob Starr (General Manager for Yamaha’s Motorsports Group) says: “We are very proud to be continuing our long standing involvement with Feld Motor Sports.
