MV Agusta F4 Tackles NFL & Nike Ad

NFL & Motorcycles

Football and motorcycles are usually not paired together, but the famous clothing brand Nike changed all that by featuring some of the biggest stars in the NFL aboard the legendary MV Agusta F4.

The football players posed on the MV Agusta superbike for the a new advertising campaign dedicated to the stars of the NFL.

Five superstars from the National Football League are pictured on the Italian F4: Steve Breaston of the Arizona Cardinals, Calvin Johnson of the Detroit Lions, Chris Johnson of the Tennessee Titans, DeSean Jackson of the Philadelphia Eagles, Troy Polamalu of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Talking about the Nike ad, MV Agusta says "A mix of power and speed that represents the connection between the most coveted sports bike in the world and one of the most popular sports on the planet."

Many two-wheel enthusiasts, especially those within the industry, are likely hoping that this "connection" grows. And not just with exotic motorcycles like the F4, but all kinds; this is just the extra push that the motorcycle industry needs for additional growth.

About the MV Agusta F4

The MV Agusta F4 follows in the footsteps of MV Agusta tradition and keeps alive the dream of having the most unique supersport in the world: a motorcycle that is true in its origins, built to the highest levels of engineering excellence and offering incredible performance.

The ultra compact in-line 4-cylinder 998cc engine featured in the F4 is capable of reaching 186 hp at 12900 rpm. The highest level of technology has been coupled with the most advanced electronic controls in the F4, including twin fuel injectors per cylinder, variable length intake system, slipper clutch and the TC MK II traction control system which has eight levels of adjustment.

These advancements, along with the uniqueness of the radial valve system, attribute to the fact that this engine is the most sophisticated and evolved on the market.

The MV Agusta F4 chassis has also been engineered to unheard of levels of compactness; the new single-sided rear swingarm has been lengthened, and its weight has been reduced along with the fully adjustable suspension that are all factors that contribute to making the new F4 unique.

MV Agusta originally revolutionized the world of supersport motorcycles, and the F4 has become even more beautiful, sleeker and modern while maintaining the unmistakable "Made in MV" design.
