The Honda VTR 250 is a 90-degree V-twin motorcycle. The original VTR 250 was a faired model that sold only in the USA and Canada from 1988 to 1990.

The current model VTR 250 is a naked bike, produced from 1997 to the present, available only in the Asia-Pacific region, and slightly redesigned for Europe in 2009.

With a 249cc 4-stroke liquid-cooled DOHC V-twin engine and a 5-speed transmission, the VTR 250 is the smallest of the Honda V-Twin line of motorcycles.

The Honda 250 motorcycle has been compared to the Ducati Monster in appearance, with a trellis frame, transverse L-twin engine, and initially a similar instrument layout, with no tachometer.
