Eurobike: 2011 Dainese Bike Collection

Protective Gear

From the 1st to the 4th of September at Eurobike 2010, the most important international Bike trade show, Dainese will present a preview of its new 2011 collection, to confirm its ambitious project to develop further more into the biking world.

After launching in 2009 an exclusive and innovative line dedicated to the Bike world, Dainese presents the new collection of apparel and protectors, for all categories of cyclist and terrain, designed to guarantee the best compromise in terms of balance between safety and comfort and to offer the best performances.

Dainese will receive its customers in a functional booth, where the full range of 2011 Bike collection will be displayed.

The Dainese Bike concept is following two different projects: the ergonomic and breathable hard protectors of the off-road Freeride line, and the garments made in technical and innovative fabrics integrated with the latest soft protectors of the Velocity line.

Both of them have been renewed and expanded to enrich the range of opportunities to meet the needs of every bike rider.

The main news is the introduction of two helmets, Speed Air and Speed Air XC, lightweight but very strong with a new size adjustment to guarantee an absolute comfort.

Directly from D-tec, the R&D Dainese center, comes the DH-Frame, a new generation of back protector with an innovative structure that allows an extreme shock-absorbing capability together with high lightness and flexibility to ensure the maximum comfort.

Brand new are also the downhill gloves Rock Solid in breathable stretch fabric, with palm in NASH® Clarino and silicone print for a better grip.

The company from Molvena, Vicenza, which specializes in the production of protective clothing for dynamic sports, has been present in the mountain bike sector since 1992, when, on the strength of its know-how and experience gained in the motorcycle sector, it first introduced the back protector and system of integrated protectors in the Downhill racing category, through fruitful collaboration with the Swiss champion Philippe Perakis.

“Head-to-toe protection for people who engage in dynamic sports.” This was the mission with which Dainese was originally founded back in 1972 by its current CEO, Lino Dainese – a mission that the company continues to pursue today in every new application to make Dainese a dynamic protagonist in constant motion itself.
