World Ducati Week: Haga wins Drag Race

The 2010 World Ducati Week (WDW) featured an all-star drag race along the Misano racetrack’s front straight. The motorcycles: The tire-shredding Ducati Streetfighters.

More interesting, the competitors included Nicky Hayden and Casey Stoner from the Ducati MotoGP Team and Michel Fabrizio and Noriyuki Haga from the Ducati Xerox World Superbike Team, as well as Ducati guest SBK stars Carlos Checa, Shane Byrne, Ducati MotoGP test rider, Franco Battaini and the legendary Troy Bayliss.

With tens of thousands of passionate fans on-hand, the sixth edition of World Ducati Week, titled "The Red Planet Returns", enjoyed this drag race as just one of the many exciting events.
