The new Boom! Audio Music and Intercom Kit (P/N 77107-09, $399.95) from Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Accessories adds front- and rear-communications ports for headphones and rider-to-passenger communication to Advanced Audio System-equipped Touring motorcycles that do not have rear speaker pods or Tour-Pak luggage. It can also be installed with a detachable Tour-Pak. The previous Harley-Davidson intercom system required a Tour-Pak and rear speakers.
The Boom! Audio kit features discrete tank and rear fender pods with seven-pin plugs for headphone/ microphones (sold separately) that allow the rider and passenger to communicate and to listen to programming through the Advanced Audio System. The rear port features a separate volume control.
The Boom! Audio Music and Intercom Kit also enables high-quality bike-to-bike communications with the purchase of CB Communication Module (P/N 76416-06C), Wiring Harness (P/N 70169-06), and model-specific CB Antenna. This will allow the rider and passenger to talk to other riders, even those miles apart.
