Raw & Beautiful: The Motorcycle as Art

A landmark exhibition by Ronald Bajorek Jr of vintage motorcycles as well as motocycle ephermera and memorabilia will open August 18th at The Gallery of The Arts & Cultural Council for Greater Rochester. Photos titled, "Cycles of Life" by local photographer, Garry Geer will also be featured.

Overview:
The Gallery at The Arts & Cultural Council’s landmark exhibition, Raw & Beautiful: The Motorcycle as Art, is the vision of local businessman, Ronald Bajorek Jr . The exhibition is a celebration of the motorcycle as art. The show will feature Ron Bajorek’s timeless Harley Davidson "bobber" as well as 14 other significant vintage motorcycles representing many different genres of motorcycling. In addition, the exhibition will feature a large collection of motorcycle ephemera and memorabilia, including advertising and sales brochures, as well as original motorcycle posters with an emphasis on motorcycles and motorcycle events in the Rochester and upstate New York region. Photos by local photographer, Garry Geer, called "Cycles of Life" will also be featured.

Exhibition Design:
The exhibition installation is designed by Ronald G Bajorek, Jr. Bajorek is a prominent local business owner whose love for motorcycles stems from his early childhood. Bajorek is well known in the area and is looked to as an expert in all things motorcycle, including, insurance.

Monday – Friday 10am-4pm
Opening Reception, Friday, August 21st 5-8pm
Open Saturday, August 22nd 10am-4pm
