Top 50 celebrates women riders at Sturgis

Top 50 Rally Park, Independent Cycle Inc., and Legend Air-Suspension once again joined forces to celebrate and honor women bikers during "Women’s Day" Thursday, August 7, 2008 at the Top 50 Rally Park.

The exclusive event once again celebrated the independence, freedom and adrenaline that inspires women to ride.

Top 50 Rally Park is honored to be the first Sturgis rally park to recognize the rapidly evolving image of women in the motorcycle industry by creating events designed specifically for women by women.

The highlight of the day was the Bike for Breast Cancer Awareness – EWC (Every Woman Counts) Top 50 Rally Park Charity Ride. This year’s event benefited Brenda Fox, a motorcycle journalist and spokesperson.

Nearly 100 men and women participated in the ride lead by Laura Klock, World’s Fastest Bagger record holder. Laura was joined on the ride by both Brenda Fox and Malcolm Smith (Sturgis Motorcycle Hall of Fame inductee and star of "On Any Sunday").

Top 50 Rally Park also presented the second annual Women of the Motorcycle Industry Awards.
