2009 April/May Issue of Ultimate MotorCycling on Newsstands March 31st.

In the April/May 2009 issue, Ultimate MotorCycling celebrates its 5th Anniversary with a new, extra-wide, larger format and improved paper stock, along with a look back at its greatest stories. On the cover, and featured inside, is the incredibly detailed Pan Fry’d motorcycle from Tough Customs.

Ben Spies is interviewed and profiled by Jeff Buchanan, while testing his Yamaha YZF-R1 in Portugal before his World Superbike debut. Jess and Malin McKinley share their ride from California to the Panama Canal, and back, two-up on a BMW R 1200 GS. An immaculate BSA Gold Star from Harris Vincent Galleries is scrutinized by David Morris-with a guest test ride by former BSA factory racer Jody Nicholas-while publisher Arthur Coldwells takes a spin on a 1972 Kawasaki H2 Mach IV.

Tests in the issue include the 2010 Honda Fury chopper, Benelli’s stunning new Tornado Tre 1130 superbike, the elegant limited-edition 10th Anniversary Victory Vision Tour, Harley-Davidson’s long-awaited Sportster XR1200, and Yamaha’s fun, new FZ6R. Product tests range from Sidi’s new Vortex boots, Metzeler Roadtec Z6 sport-touring tire, Lee Parks Design tail pack, and the new Jiano convertible helmet from Vemar.

Ultimate MotorCycling also takes a look at Akrapovic Exhaust Systems (and the man behind the Slovenian company), plus lifestyle accoutrements from Ralph Lauren, Ernst Benz, John Varvatos, and David Urman.
