BRP Spyder RT Roadster Recalls

Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) has recalled 3,259 of its 2010 Can Am Spyder RT Roadster motorcycles due to brake-pedal issues.

BRP says a pin securing the brake pedal connection rod could disengage and fall off. If this occurs, the rider could lose the main brake, increasing the risk of a crash.

BRP will notify owners, and dealers will replace the brake pedal connection rod pins free of charge. The safety recall has begun; owners may contact BRP at 1-888-638-5397.

Customers may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY: 1-800-424-9153), or visit safercar.gov.
