Dani Pedrosa has screw removed

Operation Screw Removed

Repsol Honda Team’s rider, Dani Pedrosa, underwent yesterday, an operation at the USP Institut Universitari Dexeus of an old fracture in his left hand. In particular, he´s had a screw removed and his extensor tendons have been freed to allow him improve the mobility of his left wrist.

The rider has been operated by Doctor Xavier Mir, Head of the Hand Surgery Unit of the Orthopaedics Department of the USP Institut Universitari Dexeus.

Dani Pedrosa was today discharged from hospital and, according to Dr. Xavier Mir, could start his functional recovery in about two weeks.
