With long-travel suspension (7.5 inches at each end) that is fully adjustable up front, as well as damping adjustable in the rear, the 2016 Yamaha Super Ténéré is a credible off-road open-class adventure bike that is also very much at home on the open highway.
To make riders more comfortable, the seat height can be seat at 33.3 or 34.3 inches above the ground. ABS is standard, as is linked braking. An integrated carrier system in the rear allows various configurations of bags and touring accessories, while the 6.1-gallon tank lets you go for long rides between gas stops.
For 2016, the Super Ténéré is available in Yamaha 60th Anniversary Yellow livery for a $500 premium.
