2027 Pro Motocross Schedule: AMA Nationals Dates, Tickets

The 2027 Pro Motocross schedule has all 11 AMA Nationals from 2026, in the same order, with every race falling one day earlier on the calendar. The 2027 AMA Pro Motocross Championship opens Memorial Day weekend, May 29, at Fox Raceway in Pala, California, and ends August 28 at Ironman Raceway in Crawfordsville, Indiana.

The High Point National in Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania, is on Father’s Day weekend, June 19, and the RedBud National in Buchanan, Michigan, is on Independence Day weekend, July 3. The 2027 Pro Motocross schedule has one open weekend between High Point and RedBud, and two weekends of rest between Washougal on July 24 and Unadilla on August 14.

Hunter Lawrence (#96) battles Jett Lawrence.

Hunter Lawrence won his first 450MX championship in 2026, two points ahead of his brother, Jett Lawrence, and returns as the defending champion. Jett Lawrence and Chase Sexton are both former 450MX champions looking to regain their crowns. Other top challengers returning include Haiden Deegan and Jorge Prado, who finished third and fourth in the 2026 Pro Motocross standings. Prado heads into 2027 as the newly crowned SMX World Champion. Lucas Coenen, who made the podium as a guest rider in 2026, comes over from MXGP to race the full series.

Haiden Deegan leads Hunter Lawrence.

In 250MX, Cole Davies defends his title against former championship runners-up Levi Kitchen (2026 250SMX Champion) and Jo Shimoda (2025 250SMX Champion), along with past National winners Julien Beaumer, Seth Hammaker, and Chance Hymas. Sacha Coenen, who swept both 250MX motos at Southwick in July, joins the class full-time. Sacha Coenen is leaving MX2 in the MXGP series to race the AMA 250 Nationals.

Two SMX Playoff rounds follow on September 11 and September 18, and the SMX World Championship Final is September 25, with locations to be announced in January.
