Here we are at the midpoint of the 2026 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship Series. Eight rounds have been completed, and there will be eight rounds after the Indianapolis round at Lucas Oil Stadium. It’s tight at the top, with one point separating leader Hunter Lawrence and pursuer Eli Tomac. Ken Roczen and Cooper Webb are struggling to keep in touch, 20 points back. You can safely eliminate everyone else from the championship series. Now, it’s time for RMFantasySX players to check out our 2026 Indianapolis Supercross fantasy picks and tips.

- Eli Tomac remains the best choice to win. Tomac has won half of the Supercross rounds this year. Four riders have one win each. Also, Indianapolis is a Triple Crown round, and Tomac is known for his success in that format. Until other riders show up on the top step of the podium, Tomac will be the pick to win.

- With consistency as his calling card, Hunter Lawrence is as strong a P2 pick as Tomac is to win. Lawrence has five P2s in eight rounds this year. It’s his spot, and you do well consistently if you put him in that slot.

- Ken Roczen and Cooper Webb will battle for the podium. Roczen has four wins in Lucas Oil Stadium, including three in 2021 during COVID, plus 2023. Cooper Webb won last year at Indy. Roczen and Webb have swapped P4 and P3 in the last two rounds. In eight rounds, Roczen has beaten Webb four times, and vice versa. They’re also tied on points in the standings. It’s not an easy pick. My tiebreaker is that Roczen has three P3s this year, compared to two for Webb. By that slightest of margins, I have Roczen in P3 and Webb right behind him.
- Justin Cooper is the man for P5, though Joey Savatgy is putting in a challenge. Cooper has three top-five finishes in the last four rounds. Savatgy has just one, and that came last week at Daytona International Speedway. That’s enough to tip the scales in Cooper’s favor, though a top-five performance from Savatgy this week will change the outlook considerably.

- There’s a rider ready to take the P8 Wild Card slot. Aaron Plessinger has two P8s in the last four rounds. He also has two P7s, so he’s been right there for P8 at half the races. Otherwise, P8 has bounced around quite a bit, with six other riders finishing in P8 this year. If you’re looking for long shots, go with Malcolm Stewart (P8 at round 4) or Justin Hill, who’s on a 10-11-12-9 run.
