This year, the 2026 Harley-Davidson Street Glide Limited replaces the Ultra Limited in The Motor Company’s full dresser lineup for touring motorcycles. The upgrades range from performance to aesthetic, so let’s take a closer look.
- The 2026 Harley-Davidson Street Glide Limited gets the latest Milwaukee-Eight VVT 117 powerplant. With variable valve timing to ensure plenty of power at all rev counts, the VVT 117 peaks at 106 horsepower at 4600 rpm and a muscular 131 lb-ft of torque at 3250 rpm. Cooling is a combination of air, oil, and liquid-cooled heads. Three preset ride modes are standard—Sport, Road, and Rain—along with a rider-configurable Custom mode.
- The Street Glide Limited gets the latest Rider Safety Enhancements package. That means linked brakes, ABS, traction control, engine drag torque control—all cornering-aware. There’s also hill hold control and tire pressure monitoring.
- The Grand Tour-Pak top box is new. Capable of storing 2.4 cubic feet of cargo, including two full-face helmets, the Grand Tour-Pak has a molded liner with a pouch for small items. Combined with the side cases and new fairing storage compartments, the total luggage capacity is 5.1 cubic feet. Everything is lockable, and new lighting on the Tour-Pak improves visibility. Inside the Grand Tour-Pak is a 12-volt plug.
- There’s a new Street Glide fairing leading the way. Designed to enhance aerodynamics, the new batwing uses fairing lowers with adjustable venting and air deflectors for maximum performance. Lighting is all LED, including the new fog lamps.
- The Street Glide Limited has a taller windshield than the standard Street Glide. It’s about four inches taller for more protection from the elements, and it’s clear for unencumbered visibility.
- Behind the fairing is a new 12.3-inch touchscreen dash. The Skyline OS infotainment software has all the features you expect, including wireless Apple CarPlay via Wi-Fi and over-the-air updates. The dash is controlled by left-thumb switchgear to isolate the throttle hand. Harley-Davidson engineers provided a storage drawer for your smartphone and a USB-C charging port, with Bluetooth built in for pairing with helmet communications devices. Sound is provided by Rockford Fosgate via a four-channel amp putting out 50 watts per channel to four 6.5-inch speakers.
- Rider comfort has gotten quite a bit of attention. There’s new seating for the rider and passenger, along with separate heated seat controls. Heated grips are standard, along with new highway pegs and a heel/toe shifter. If you have heated gear, prewired ports are ready for it. The passenger gets a bit more space thanks to the new Grand Tour-Pak.
- The Street Glide Limited’s Showa suspension is an upgrade over the suspenders on the Ultra Limited. The Dual Bending Valve fork has 4.5 inches of travel, while the spring-preload adjustable emulsion shocks get by with an even three inches.
- Weight has been cut by 24 pounds compared to the outgoing Ultra Limited. Curb weight of the 2026 Harley-Davidson Street Glide Limited is 839 pounds with the six-gallon fuel tanks filled. With fuel consumption estimated at 45 mpg, you may squeeze out 270 miles before visits to the pump.
- Charging output enjoys a big boost. Now putting out 58 peak amps, the Street Glide Limited has a 21 percent advantage in charging over the Ultra Limited and its 114 motor.
- You can’t complain about the number of color and trim options. Chrome is the standard trim, with Black a $1200 option. From there, you have seven color choices. Dark Billiard Gray won’t cost you another dime, but if you want either of the two-tone options, put two-grand down on the table. The starting MSRP for the 2026 Harley-Davidson Street Glide Limited is $32,999.
