It’s time to start thinking about the 2026 Monster Energy Supercross season. Benny Bloss and Mitchell Oldenburg return on the Liqui Moli Beta Factory Race Team, with both riders having top 10 finishes in Main Events last year. The 2026 Beta 450 RX they ride gets a variety of updates, so let’s see what the underdogs will be riding.
- Beta has applied its experience in MXGP motor building to the 2026 Beta 450 RX. Rather than being the horsepower king, the RX focuses on rideability and the torque curve.
- Attention was given to the airflow. There’s a new intake manifold with better flow and a longer intake boot. That sends air to the new, higher-performance cylinder head. Finally, the burnt gases are sent to a new exhaust system, which features a new head pipe and a quieter HGS muffler.
- The piston has a new, slipperier coating.
- The counterbalancer is new. The result is fewer vibrations to fatigue the rider.
- The electronics on the 2026 Beta 450 RX have been updated to assist the top-end changes. The two maps—wet and dry—are new. There are also four levels of traction control, plus off. Starting has been changed, as has the rev limiter implementation.
- The frame gets a cast-in brace to support the steering head. There are no geometry changes.
- The radiator mounting has been beefed up on the 2026 Beta 450 RX. This is to prevent twisting during the hardest riding.
- Dunlop Geomax MX34 tires are standard. These are an industry standard.
- The list price of the 2026 Beta 450 RX is $10,990. The bike is only available in red, and should be at your local Beta dealer right now.
