2026 Triumph Scrambler 900 First Look: 8 Fast Facts; 24 Photos

The junior scrambler in the Triumph lineup gets significant upgrades for the coming year. From front to back, the 2026 Triumph Scrambler 900 has upped its game, functionally and aesthetically, while retaining the same motor. Let’s go over what’s new.

2026 Triumph Scrambler 900 First Look: Price

  1. Triumph Motorcycles Chief Commercial Officer Paul Stroud sets the tone: “The Scrambler 900 has long been celebrated for its distinctive character and all-round versatility. With this latest evolution, we’ve refined every aspect of the riding experience—focusing on intuitive handling, enhanced ergonomics, and the kind of premium build quality that speaks to Triumph’s commitment to engineering excellence.”

  1. The new frame gets a cast-aluminum swingarm. It remains a steel tube design. Weight has been cut by five pounds; the 2026 Triumph Scrambler 900 weighs 487 pounds at the curb with the new 3.2-gallon fuel tank topped off.

  1. Showa takes over the suspension duties. The Scrambler 900 now has an inverted fork, though it is still non-adjustable. The fork tube gaiters have been replaced with guards. The shocks have piggyback reservoirs, and are adjustable for spring preload. Wheel travel is unchanged at 4.7 inches at each end. Fox shocks are available as an upgrade and add tunable compression damping.

  1. The wire-spoke rims are now aluminum. This replaces steel rims. Metzeler Tourance tires remain Triumph’s rubber of choice for the Scrambler 900 and have an 80/20 street/dirt bias. Despite that, all of Triumph’s action press kit photos are shot in the dirt.

  1. A new, larger 320mm disc is employed for deceleration. It is grasped by a radially mounted Brembo four-piston caliper. The rear disc is 255mm and matched to a two-piston Nissin caliper. ABS is now lean-sensitive, as is traction control when on the gas.

2026 Triumph Scrambler 900 First Look: Colors

  1. There’s a new dash that mixes analog sensibilities with LCD functionality. A powered USB-C port is standard. Connectivity to your smartphone via Bluetooth is an option, as is cruise control. The headlight is LED with DLRs, and features new aluminum supporting brackets.

  1. The new Scrambler 900 is lighter, so Triumph has restyled it to reflect that change. Although the tank’s capacity is unchanged, the shape is less organic and there’s a new filler cap. The side panels are new, as are the camouflaging covers for the throttle bodies. The exhaust system styling is new, with more heat shielding. The two-piece seat has a new profile while retaining the same height and sits atop a new, narrower subframe. Also, Triumph shrunk the fenders. It all adds up to a more contemporary Scrambler 900.

  1. Look for the 2026 Triumph Scrambler 900 to roll onto American dealership showroom floors in the Spring. The list price is $12,395 in your choice of Matte Khaki Green/Matt Phantom Black or Mineral Grey/Cosmic Yellow.
